A man crosses a desert, a forest and an artificial lake on a diplomatic journey. In the midst of his struggles against nature and politics, he finds himself on a treehouse emerged from the red ground.

“We worked to create a video-collage bringing and mixing Brasilia and its contradictions, as well Nervi’s architecture, as graphics overlaps. It was very important to us to create layers showing up movements, such as the earth move, the machine-man displacement, the trees falling down and the water courses. This work aims to comprehend the political, material and formal aspects of these relations

CLUBE

CLUBE establishes its practice within production and discussion of architecture discipline. CLUBE has been selected in architecture and design competitions, and has organized series of lectures, workshops and exhibitions with Brazilian and foreign architects. CLUBE had works and texts published in magazines and catalogues of architecture in Brazil and abroad. CLUBE has been also invited to exhibitions. Both CLUBE founders teach at Escola da Cidade.

 

MARTINICA SPACE is a diasporic-space operating under the idea of a speculative design practice. The studio designs graphic identities, typefaces, websites and publications for institutions, black collectives, businesses and individuals within the art, culture and commerce sector. ‘tropical dream black-phenomena-drama’.

 

FELINTO is a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, yoga teacher for children and a founding member of the Coletivo Sistema Negro, which between 2014 and 2019 carried out a series of actions in order to minimizing the impacts of structural racism on black populations.
