SYNLAB is the European leader in the provision of medical diagnostic services, offering a full range of laboratory medicine services for patients, physicians, clinics, and the pharmaceutical industry.
In Tuscany, SYNLAB operates more than 40 Collection Points, 12 of which are integrated within Medical Centers/Poli-specialist Clinics that are continuously expanding across the region.
The new center opening in September 2025, SYNLAB MANIFATTURA FIRENZE, will be an outpatient diagnostic hub accredited with the Regional Health System. It is designed to meet the healthcare needs of Florentine citizens in coordination with public health services.
SYNLAB MANIFATTURA FIRENZE will span four floors, covering approximately 4,000 square meters. One entire floor will be dedicated to advanced radiological diagnostics, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including high-field MRI, CT scan, mammography, and more. Numerous clinics will offer specialist consultations and diagnostic services across the major medical specialties. There will be a dedicated laboratory testing area and a section for endoscopic diagnostics, where procedures such as colonoscopies and gastroscopies will be performed. The organization and specialized expertise will place a strong emphasis on early diagnosis and prevention of the most common diseases.
A key highlight of the facility will be the SYNLAB Lei area, created to support women’s health throughout all stages of life, with an ultra-specialized team covering gynecology, cardiology, endocrinology, nutrition, and more.
Services available at the new center:
Laboratory testing: from routine exams to advanced and highly specialized analyses;
Specialist consultations and diagnostic examinations covering all medical specialties;
Comprehensive and advanced imaging services with a strong focus on patient comfort and reduced radiation exposure;
Prevention check-ups and multidisciplinary care pathways for early diagnosis and follow-up of chronic conditions.
