FONDAZIONE FERRAGAMO
Fondazione Ferragamo presents a series of educational workshops dedicated to children aged 6 to 12 and their families. Together with their accompanying adults, children will take part in creative activities to craft fashion accessories using recycled materials, embracing an approach rooted in circular and sustainable creativity.
The workshops are also designed to share with younger generations the values at the heart of Fondazione Ferragamo’s mission — the same values that shaped Made in Italy and Salvatore Ferragamo’s work: artisanal passion, technological innovation, creativity, a strong connection to local culture, the courage to experiment and the determination to pursue one’s dreams.
Sunday 14th June Sustainable Atelier: The Bag | from 5.00 pm to 6.15 pm
Young artisans will take on an exciting challenge: creating a bag using reused materials such as leather and fabrics. Guided by the Foundation’s staff, each participant will craft their own bag while discovering the artisanal expertise behind this accessory. One accompanying adult per participant is required.
Sunday 19th July Sustainable Atelier: The Scarf | from 5.00 pm to 6.15 pm
Participants will discover the delicate process behind the creation of a silk scarf. Children will then receive a cardboard reproduction of a Ferragamo scarf to personalise freely. Their scarf will become a “canvas” to decorate using collage techniques, colours, fabrics and other recycled materials. One accompanying adult per participant is required.
Sunday 30th August 2026 Sustainable Atelier: The Shoe | from 5.00 pm to 6.15 pm
Young shoemakers will create a real shoe using recycled materials and working on a wooden last, just like industry professionals. Children will work individually under the guidance of the Fondazione Ferragamo staff. One accompanying adult per participant is required.
