El fondo del Aire is the new exhibition by Manuela García and Giuseppe de Mattia, hosted by Toast Project Space. The project originates from an exchange with Espacio Cabeza, an independent space based in Guadalajara, Mexico, and develops as a dialogue between different artistic practices and cultural contexts.
The exhibition stems from a collective conversation among artists and curators and unfolds as a reflection on expectations of reality, imagination, and processes of cultural translation, bringing together different “Southern” imaginaries between the Mediterranean and Latin America. In this context, conversation becomes both structure and method, activating a space for shared research and an open system of references and interpretative possibilities.
