El fondo del Aire | Toast Project

Thursday 23rd April marks the opening of the new exhibition promoted by Toast Project titled El fondo del Aire, by artist Manuela García, curated by Vasco Forconi and Marco Valtierra.
The exhibition activates an exchange between Toast Project and Espacio Cabeza, an independent space based in Guadalajara, through the works of Manuela García and Giuseppe de Mattia. The project begins from a collective conversation between artists and curators that, starting from expectations of the real, unfolds into a reflection on imagination, on processes of cultural translation, and on different imaginaries of the South between the Mediterranean and Latin America.
The programme includes a double appointment: at 18.00, at Edificio B9, a talk with Marco Valtierra, co-founder and artistic director of Espacio Cabeza, followed at 19.00 by the opening of the exhibition at Toast Project Space.
