Piantala

From October 16th to 18th, 2026, Manifattura Tabacchi will host Piantala, an event dedicated to the world of plants, craftsmanship and music. For three days, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a true open-air greenhouse, with a plant market, workshops and afternoon DJ sets curated by Florence-based collective Intro-Spettiva.
The programme features a variety of hands-on activities, including kokedama, terrarium, flower pressing, ceramics and majolica workshops, as well as sessions dedicated to plant care, poetry and creative upcycling. There will also be a Plants Yoga session. The experience will be rounded off by three DJ sets, one each day, featuring sounds ranging from house and electronic music to Italo disco. Piantala is designed as an informal and creative event, welcoming both plant enthusiasts and anyone looking to discover the world of plants through hands-on experiences, music and socialising.
