Toast Project | Open studio Jona B. Gandolfo

Since May, four resident artists have been working in the studios curated by Toast in the B9 Building at Manifattura Tabacchi. Taking turns, each artist opens their studio to share processes, materials, and notes.

This time it’s Jona B. Gandolfo’s turn (Bagno a Ripoli, 2000), an artist and transdisciplinary student with a practice rooted in painting. Their work explores the non-binary queer body as a fractured and plural image. Every time we are seen, we also affirm ourselves as possible bodies in the world. This is the complexity of our skin.

During the open studio, all the ateliers will be accessible.
