The adventure of Lara and Elisabetta began as a playful endeavor. Lifelong friends with a shared passion for Anglo-Saxon pastry, they started by sharing their cookies with friends and ended up dedicating a significant portion of their free time to kneading, decorating, and savoring. Birthdays, events, and eventually requests for supplies from many famous places in Florence followed.

It was the tremendous success of their creations that gave rise to the idea of leaving their jobs as employees to turn their passion into a full-fledged profession. The idea is a bakery/laboratory where one can feel among friends, relax, and savor cookies of many flavors, delicious brownies, fantastic cupcakes, layer cakes, plum cakes, bread, muffins—every day different, every day fresh, made with genuine ingredients from home. Sweet, savory, vegan, lactose-free: Cuchiss Lab’s creations cater to all tastes.
