On Friday, September 26th, at the ZOO_Hub atelier, the presentation of the monograph Felipe Assadi (Electa, 2025) will take place. The Chilean architect, a central figure on the contemporary Latin scene, will attend the event to explore his design language, the dialogue between form and context, and the affinities with our architectural culture.

The Chilean architect constantly plays with the concepts of weight and lightness, developing projects in which the built mass seems to challenge visual and structural balance. The volume is introduced by essays from Fabián Barros and Michelangelo Pivetta, offering new insights into Assadi’s trajectory and the evolution of his work. Its structure documents a wide selection of his projects, each accompanied by technical details, plans, and photographs.

The monograph goes beyond merely describing the works, delving into the creative process and the architectural challenges faced in the making of each building. Among the projects featured—alongside the renowned Awasi Patagonia Hotel—are numerous private residences, including Casa Schmitz, Casa H, and Casa Caruz, which most clearly embody his distinctive style of monolithic forms and transparencies that dissolve the boundaries between inside and outside.
