Many Possible Cities is a festival from Manifattura Tabacchi on the theme of urban regeneration which looks at how new polyfunctional spaces and fluid communities can contribute to the creation of cultural, economic and social capital.
In this summer edition, talks and workshops will be accompanied by the universal language of music, bringing these possible cities, pioneers of a plural future, into the present whilst offering opportunities for local people who are open to contemporary developments and able to speak to the wider world.
Saturday 6 july
Morning
>> 10:00 StreetBook Magazine 3years exhibition curated by Three Faces
>> 10am PortaLab Presentation. A project for the self-construction of devices to create greater accessibility for disabled people, curated by Fablab Contea. A workshop on the manufacture of portable devices that can be used by associations that support disable people, aiming to devise and implement ad-hoc solutions to the problems experienced by assisted people by involving them directly.
>> 11:30am Presentation of edition 02 of the magazine Scarto, with talks and debates from the writers, curated by FiloFerro Architetti
Afternoon
>> 3pm PortaLab show and demonstration: a visit to the FabLab at Manifattura to discover the potential of self-construction.
>> h 17:00 and 18:00 DanceFloor Kids (3-5 years): a workshop which engages parents and children though play, movement and contact. Both big kids and small kids will be free to jump around whilst being guided to discover new and diverse methods of communication.

Evening
>> 7pm Futurissima Spotlight: talks and live performances with Avex (Futurissima record label) Ekowave, Jathson, Babatunde, Il Male, Apple B, Maryam.
After speaking about their experiences as young italian artists of the new generation, they will take to the stage in the Cortile della Ciminiera in a show that will cross musical genres, without borders or barriers.
