10.00–11.00 Guided tour of Fabbrica dell’Aria by PNAT
A visit to the innovative system developed by PNAT to purify indoor air through the use of plants. The tour offers an opportunity to learn more about how the technology works, its potential applications, and the environmental and health benefits it can provide. Participants will explore the scientific principles behind the project, see the installed systems up close, and engage directly with the research and development team.

10.30–13.00 Bamboo self-build workshop with Margherita Bertoli of Arundo
A hands-on workshop dedicated to self-build techniques using bamboo, a natural, durable and sustainable material. Together with Margherita Bertoli of Arundo, participants will discover the properties of this plant and experiment with simple assembly techniques to create small structures, exploring the principles of lightweight and circular construction.

11.00–12.00 Nature in Every Detail, terrarium-making workshop by Fàbera Jewels in collaboration with La Biblioserra
During the workshop, participants will create their own desert terrarium. An expert from La Biblioserra will guide you step by step, and at the end of the workshop you will receive all the information you need to care for and maintain your green composition.

11.00–12.30 The Mind Is Like a Garden, nature connection and botanical collage workshop by Susanna Stigler
An artistic practice that explores our connection with nature through botanical collage. Botanical collections from the changing season become the starting point for creating personal compositions of colours, shapes and words, transforming natural elements into a garden to explore and interpret. During the workshop, participants will create their own botanical collage using natural materials and experimenting with a creative process of observation and composition.
All materials are included. Maximum 20 participants.

11.30–16.00 Create Your Own Japan-Inspired Landscape, creative workshop by Bulli&Balene in collaboration with Toshiharu Onodera
The workshop offers an introduction to the world of Japanese gardens, exploring their fundamental principles and the elements of harmony and balance that define them. Participants will then be guided in creating their own Japan-inspired landscape: a miniature garden to make and take home.
All materials are provided, and the workshop also includes brunch prepared by Bulli&Balene.

16.00–18.00 Botanical Embroidery Workshop by Shake Cafè in collaboration with Meditazione Tessile
Create a composition of hanging pots using needle and thread. During the workshop, Tina from Meditazione Tessile will introduce participants to some of the main modern embroidery stitches used for botanical and profile compositions, as well as the tools of the trade and the use of water-soluble stabilisers for embroidering on clothing. The experience includes a drink at Shake Cafè and a complete embroidery kit to take home.

16.30–17.30 Paesaggiando: Discovering the Botany of Manifattura Tabacchi, activity for families and adults with Elia Renzi of Società Toscana Orticultura
Paesaggiando is an immersive journey through the history of urban greenery in Florence. This stop takes us to Manifattura Tabacchi, exploring the site not only from an aesthetic and landscape perspective, but also from a botanical one. On the roof of Building B11 is Officina Botanica, a biodiversity-rich rooftop garden designed by landscape architect Antonio Perazzi.

17.00–18.00 The World of Natural Infusions in Mixology: Discovering Herbpress, workshop by Bottega Biologica in collaboration with Wilden Herbals
A workshop led by Nicola Robecchi of Wilden Herbals exploring the potential of natural infusions in contemporary mixology. Through an introduction to the Herbpress extraction method, participants will discover new techniques for enhancing teas and herbal infusions, comparing cold and hot extraction methods, before tasting and creating original recipes to imagine the bar menu of the future together.

A workshop designed to introduce children and young people to the natural world. Through observation, interaction and play, participants will discover earthworms and their important role. During the workshop, they will learn how to build a worm composting bin using recycled materials and how to recreate this practice at home.

A workshop curated by Susanna, an artist and designer of practices connecting art and nature, together with artists Peggy in Florence and Floor Robert (la Pler), bringing together botany, visual arts and storytelling through a shared table. During the workshop, participants will explore different artistic practices, from engraving on recycled materials and printing botanical elements to drawing and storytelling through the languages of theatre and light.
