“In this workshop I have found myself in front of students, in front of young artists. Or rather, in front of colleagues and future colleagues. I have asked them to show me their earliest works which explain and tell us something distinctive about them. Something that shouldn’t be taken for granted is that it’s one thing to produce a work of art, or thinking you’ve produced one, it’s another thing to exhibit it, to put it inside a space.”
