Building 12, a typical example of late nineteenth-century industrial architecture, was originally used for the packaging of finished products. It is the oldest building in the complex, the only pre-existing building at the time work started at the construction site in the 1930s.
The Plan provides for the building to host ateliers and industrial workshops for designers and creatives. It will also function as an urban setting which will demarcate the avenue where a large crane will be installed. This will enable the movement of large artefacts, transforming them into dynamic urban installations.
